Vin d’ Honneur tribute for VMA graduates Batch 2016

Visayan Maritime Academy Global College students, for the first time, romped in red carpet for the gala night dubbed, Vin d’ Honneur, at the SMX Hall of SM City last March 4, 2016 as a tribute by the college to the 658 graduating Maritime and Non-Maritime class.

Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 Leren Mae Bautista graced the occasion with the college administration led by its president Atty. John N. Orola, Jr., Dr. Carlitos N. Orola, & Engr. Bartolome N. Orola, .

VMA inks MOA in ceremony with Japan-based foundation

The Visayan Maritime Global College together with the City Government of Bago signed a Memorandum of Agreement yesterday with Asunaro Foundation for the construction of a 125-square- meter playground inside the Bantayan Park, a public place developed by the city for its tourism promotion.
Atty. John Orola, Jr., the college president, Mayor Ramon Torres, and architect Yuusuke Karasawa signed the said MOA followed with the groundbreaking ceremony and laying of capsule for the Bantayan Park Center ( BPC) the newest tourist destination for local tourists in Negros Island. City officials led by Vice Mayor Nicholas Yulo, and the various sectors witnessed the ceremony.

VMA: A pillar for NIR Maritime Industry

One of four seafarers is a Filipino which the VMA Global College is one big contributor to the Philippine’s maritime industry, thus it is indeed the college has become a pillar for nation building especially in Negros Island Region. This, as stated by Angkla Partylist Rep. Jesulito A. Manalo during an inauguration of the newly-renovated Barangay Hall of Punta-taytay, on January 8, which was attended by the city officials led by Rep. Evelio Leonardia of the Lone District of Bacolod.
VMA has pioneered in providing maritime education in the island that already for four decades its graduates have brought back a lot of dollar remittances, obviously has contributed in the economic growth of Bacolod and Negros...

VMA Global College turns 43

Nowadays, there is a festive mood at the VMA Global College starting yesterday as it celebrates its 43rd Foundation Day, anchored on the theme VMA @ 43: Developing Skills, Brings Us to the Level of Global Standards, for five (5) days.
The festivities kicked off yesterday with a mass at VMA’s gymnasium followed by an outreach program by its high school department. In early evening, there were lighting of christmas tree, a zumba dance and then a color splash.
Today, there will be skills olympic of BTED  students, cookfest of high school students, interbarkada basketball, clash of clans among faculty and staff, and a fashion show of BSTM students.
