Cultural Friendship and Language Exchange Program 2024

VMA Global College's Chairman, Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr., President, Dr. Elizabeth Salabas, and VPAA, Dr. Remedios Johanna S. Vargas, warmly welcomed 49 students and guests from Palbok Christian Church Middle School of South Korea in a cultural friendship and language exchange program held on January 11, 2024. The event featured captivating chorale performances, an impressive karate presentation, and a delightful Bible storytelling dance exhibition, promoting cultural appreciation. Rene Alcala, SAS Head, emphasized the significance of global connections, expressing gratitude to Palbok Christian Church Korea. The program not only showcased the rich cultural tapestry but also strengthened the bonds between Korean and Filipino students, leaving a lasting impact that extends beyond scholarships. Atty. Juan N. Orola expressed his appreciation, stating, "Thank you very much for your visit to our school and for choosing VMA Global College for the cultural friendship and language exchange program. I hope that more youth from Korea would be able to come and visit the Philippines, especially the City of Bacolod." He extended a warm friendship to the Korean Delegation, particularly to the students. Dr. Elizabeth Salabas expressed her gratitude, saying, "Nomo Kamsaamnida for the generosity shown by providing financial assistance to 50 deserving high school students. Special thanks to Mr. Rod Bomban, Korean Language instructor of VMA, and Mr. Jose Batuigas, High School Principal, for bringing together a delightful display of culture, arts, and customs, making this event a success. This cultural exchange unites our cultures and brings glory to our shared humanity in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
