Extra-Curricular Activities: It's Effect to Academic Performance As Perceived by Cultural and Sports Scholars of VMA Global College

VMA'ers engage in extra-curricular activities either as hobby; to improve their talents or for scholarships. This study was conducted to determine the perceived effects of extra-curricular activities to academic performance by 35 cultural and 44 sports scholars for SY 2011-2012, using a self-made questionnaire.

Majority of the respondents were first year (48.10%); male (68.35%); aged 16-18 (70.89%) and were taking up BS Marine Engineering (29.13%) and had a GPA of 83-85.99 (29.11%).
