Vin d’ Honneur tribute for VMA graduates Batch 2016

Visayan Maritime Academy Global College students, for the first time, romped in red carpet for the gala night dubbed, Vin d’ Honneur, at the SMX Hall of SM City last March 4, 2016 as a tribute by the college to the 658 graduating Maritime and Non-Maritime class.

Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 Leren Mae Bautista graced the occasion with the college administration led by its president Atty. John N. Orola, Jr., Dr. Carlitos N. Orola, & Engr. Bartolome N. Orola, . 

Also present were: Bacolod City solon Atty. Evelio R. Leonardia; Representative Jeffrey P. Ferrer of the Fourth District of Negros Occidental; Sandra Prasasvinitchai, wife of Thai Ambassador of Kuwait; Salome Stauber from Switzerland; Evangeline O. Dionson; Kiyoshi Shimada from Japan; Ditas Montilla; Shirly Ledesma, president of Circulo de Negrense; Carlo Magno of Department of Foreign Affairs; Hannah Loise D. Gonzales, a soprano champion; Amelia D. Gonzales; Hannah Edith Robillo; former Ilog Vice-mayor Mark Vargas; Dr. Ver Lacson; Bacolod City councilors Em Ang and Atty. Ceasar Distrito, respectively, the faculty, and staff.

A toast to the graduates highlighted the gala night and a 14-set Cotillion Dance with DJs Michelle Murphy, Ian Caram, and Phat Mike. The night’s affair was also treated with Wild & Fresh Mobile Bar by Rodel Pangandian with Dani Dingcong as host.

 

Meanwhile, on the occasion, Atty. Orola lauded the indefatigable efforts of solons Leonardia and Ferrer and Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo G. Maranon Jr. for the scholarships granted to the select VMA students, through the Department of Social Welfare Services and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority funds.*
